Meet Ann Clarke
I grew up
here in the Palm Beaches so helping people to 'nest' here brings me great
personal satisfaction. I know the ins & outs of this town! New York
City was where I called home after attending one of our local high schools and
a couple years of college. I was 'discovered' in a local Palm Beach department
store, signed a contract with Zoli & Wilhelmina Modeling Agencies and was
swept away to the Big Apple. I did my share of runway shows for all the top
designers and a load of magazine work. Several years later in my modeling
career I met my first husband and moved to Germany to be with him. I spent the
next ten years in Frankfurt.
In the summer
1987 I headed back here to my family with my two sons, Jason and Taylor. I was
attracted to the real estate business, applied my all and became 'Rookie of the
Year' my very first year in the business. It was do or die! I spent the next
five years investing all my energy into making my business grow, spending time
with the boys and little else.
After five
years I met my best friend and soul mate. George and I have been married 20
years now, not really, just ten. We made a vow to be married for thirty years,
no matter what, so we are counting down instead of up from zero! We meet almost
every day for lunch and spend our time with our grown kids (and several of
their friends we have adopted), entertaining friends, beaching and boating. We
are new empty nesters, a strange but still wonderful place.
Currently and
for several years I have been the Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound Expert & # 1
Top Producer for my RE/MAX office. I am a long-standing member of the Lifetime
Multi-Million Dollar Club. I have earned the GRI designation (Graduate of the
REALTORS Institute), which is awarded to less than 7% of REALTORS nationwide
and have just recently received my ASP designation. As an Accredited Staging
Professional I have been trained to decorate and prepare a Sellers property for
sale working largely with whatever furnishings the house already contains. A
great deal of fun but it can be a lot of work too! I am also a member in good
standing on both the Martin County and the Palm Beach County Associations of
REALTORS.
My name has been
personally recognized in The Registar, Unique Home's Official Directory of
America's Luxury Real Estate Professionals, and I am currently a member of the
International Referral Network and RE/Max International.
'Our' boys are
pictured below as well as, Buddy our black lab and Blitz, our Heinz 57!
Taylor, 21, is a wake boarder,
scuba diver and a member of U of Tampa's Mens Crew. He is majoring in
marketing.
Jason, now 23, is a 2003
graduate of The United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. He is currently based
out of Charleston.
